Carrying the weight of the world can feel depleting and have one questions, "why continue?". It delves into a deeper facet of burn out and the practical reasons for why they are feeling this weight. But is it really that you are burnt out and doing too much? What I have found is that this energetic weight is not always what you think it is. That sometimes this is something you may be picking up.
It can be from a friend, someone in your work circle, the collective or a situation. We are all connected and have a way of transferring energetically the sorrow, enthusiasm, pain, shadow of something without knowing. This creates the indecision, the anger, frustration that shows up when someone is not showing up as you may like.
How you experience this can be mentally, physically, emotionally. Physically you may feel tired, have pains or levels of fatigue. Emotionally you can feel sad, anger or just upset. Mentally, you end up overthinking alot or have a pull to a situation or person. Each of these signals have a way of finding logical reasons for this and have ya in this economy just "push" through it. At least till you check out, go have a drink or binge watch some Netflix to just not have to think anymore.
Each has its way of helping, but in this context, its a leak to your energy and creates the spiral down effect that disempowers you. There are ways to clear yourself energetically and avoid the checkout moments that cause regret.
"I should have gotten XYZ done instead. " - sound familiar?
Here's something you can say to return your energy back to you and release the weight of what is:
"I am a vessel of light, not a container for the collective's
heavy shadows. I choose to return what is not mine with love."
This isn't about failing to be 'strong enough'—it’s about recognizing that your strength has been hijacked. When you are in a constant state of energetic output, your discernment thins. You start accepting the weight of others as your own responsibility. But here is the truth: You cannot pour from a vessel that is filled with someone else’s shadows. Reclaiming your energy isn't a luxury; it’s the foundational act of stepping back into your power. It’s the moment you decide that your peace is worth more than your productivity.
If you're ready to stop carrying shadows that don't belong to you, I have a few ways to help you reset. You can grab my Ultimate Detox Guide for a quick energetic reset, or if you're ready to clear these patterns at the root, book a 1:1 Energy Healing Alignment Session with me.
